Trusted Seed Quest: Philanthropy in Action with Glo Dollar
One of the highlights in Q2 was the Trusted Seed Quest: Philanthropy in Action with Glo Dollar, designed to enhance our community's understanding of USDGLO in philanthropic efforts.
The insights from all participants have been invaluable in understanding and improving the use of USDGLO in philanthropy and other causes.
We look forward to continuing these initiatives and encourage everyone interested in making a positive change to join us in upcoming quests.
Membership Renewals: May and June
In the past quarter, we managed the renewal process for annual memberships set to expire in May and June. We've reached a total renewal rate of 14.72% for this period.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who renewed their membership. Your continued commitment to Trusted Seed and our mission is invaluable.
Trusted Seed memberships are annual. If you didn't receive a renewal notice, it means your membership is still active. If you have any questions about your membership, feel free to email us at info@trustedseed.org or drop us a message on Discord.
Q2 Fundraising Highlights: Gitcoin Grants Round 20 and ENS Small Grant 13
We're excited to share our fundraising successes in Gitcoin Grants Round 20. Trusted Seed participated in the Token Engineering, Climate, and $EARTH rounds, receiving support from 162 donors and raising at least $8,500 in donations and matching funds.
Additionally, we were grateful to be among the top 10 recipients of the ENS Small Grants 13, receiving 0.25 ETH.
These funds will help advance our initiatives in token engineering, climate solutions, and addressing the diversity gaps in our network. Thank you to everyone who supported us!

Trust and Reputation Activities and Future Plans
The Trust and Reputation Circle Calls foster a collaborative space for members to address trust and reputation issues within the web3 ecosystem. These meetings offer an inclusive environment where participants and experts can exchange knowledge and perspectives. They also serve as a platform to discuss and improve current Trusted Seed programs and proposals. Additionally, attendees have the opportunity to receive valuable feedback and support to enhance their web3 project's trust and reputation components.
- ReFi Passport on creating a project that could combine Regen Score and Prosperity Passport features.
- DeCredit Project and having sessions to help advance in defining a trust scoring system specifically for micro-lending.
- Hats Protocol implementation is now a fact as a foundational tool for future on-chain member tracking and token access benefits.
- Optimism Proposal on planning to explore connections among OP power users to facilitate alliance-building, identify supporters, and avoid conflicts of interest.
Looking ahead, upcoming Trusted Seed Trust and Reputation Circle Calls will keep a strong focus on reviewing current proposals and providing dedicated time for others to explore trust and reputation challenges within their own ecosystems.
Matchmaking Program Connections and New Scenarios
The Trusted Seed Matchmaking program is dedicated to connecting passionate individuals with purpose-driven web3 organizations, fostering meaningful collaboration within the ecosystem. In Q2 2024, the program successfully facilitated 6-8 impactful connections, categorized into program supporters, strategic partnerships, and funding & grant support. These connections aim to enhance individuals' impact, leverage combined strengths, and advance missions through funding opportunities.
Among the notable Q2 success stories is the connection of Nate from TEC, Jeanne from Cosyal and Decentralized Desires, and Kent and Kate from Carbon Copy to the Regen Award program. This collaboration enriched the Organizer Committee with diverse perspectives. Additionally, the program empowered individuals like Lucky Pond and Max Z by guiding them to Giveth, unlocking new fundraising avenues for their projects “Enter the Library” and “Regenerative OffGrid Ecovillages in Ukraine”, respectively.
Moving forward, the Matchmaking program aims to broaden its reach and foster even more win-win connections to strengthen the web3 ecosystem.

ReFi Unconference Barcelona: Bridging Local and Global Regenerative Finance
From April 20 to 25, the ReFi Unconference Barcelona brought together local eco-social transition projects and global ReFi stakeholders, organized by Trusted Seed, ReFi Barcelona, and the Crypto Commons Association. The event featured community-led initiatives, workshops on web3 for dMRV and public goods funding, and deep conversations on the future of regenerative finance. With 40 participants, 30 sessions, 200 tons of carbon offset by Regen Network, and 11 trees repotted for Collserolla Natural Park, the event was a notable success.
