According to the Terms & Conditions of our membership program, your annual membership contribution is due on March 31st, 2022. We have granted an extension period to pay the renewal dues until June 30th, 2022.
After this deadline, those who didn’t renew their membership will pass to the status of Inactive.
What happens if my membership is inactive after the renewal period?
The TRUST score on your wallet will be burned, yet this score will be recorded on the contract’s registry as a pending score, meaning that once you pay dues (450 XDAI or more) to reactivate your membership, your previous amount of TRUST score will be restored and you will be able to enjoy the full benefits of being a member of the Trusted Seed again.
What are the benefits of renewing/reactivating my membership?
- You will have special access to upcoming Commons Hatches, giving you the ability to fund and govern future Commons economies and participate in their collaborative economic decision-making.
- You will benefit from our “legal shield”, one of the primary benefits of the Trusted Seed membership. You, as a member, are entitled to CHF 10,000 which will cover your legal expenses if issues arise in your participation in future approved Commons/DAOs.
- You will automatically earn $GIV tokens when you renew your membership.
- You can continue to support building out our open-source library of tools — such as the Augmented Bonding Curve and Conviction Voting — used by purpose-driven communities united around public goods.
What is the purpose of paying dues?
The funds are used to pay the salaries of our Trusted Seed gardeners, and build the Trusted Seed community to maintain itself as an accessible and trustworthy source of advisors and participants for early-stage Impact DAOs and Regen Economies.
