We’d like to take this opportunity to provide you with updates on the past milestones we achieved together, give you an understanding of our financial status, and share our exciting plans for the future. We hope we continue to grow and make bigger impacts together!
A timeline of the Trusted Seed journey
🚀 2019 - Trusted Seed was launched as part of Commons Stack to support early-stage regenerative economies culturally and financially and provide legal mutual aid to those who participate in the Commons.
📋 2020 - Trusted Seed started curating a list of trusted value-driven individuals through membership applications into the Swiss Association. Successful members received a non-transferable token called “$CSTK” (now $TRUST) to signify their skin in the game and reputation in the Trusted Seed community.
🐣 2021 - Trusted Seed members participated in the Hatch of the first Commons, the Token Engineering Commons (TEC). Known as “Hatchers”, they played an important role in the governance and initial fundraising of the TEC using their CSTK scores. (Read more about the TEC stakeholders and governance in this comprehensive article.) Currently, ~80% of the $TEC token is held by former/current Trusted Seed members.
🌿 2022 - Trusted Seed has beautifully evolved into its own independent organization and has branched out to the wider web3 ecosystem to benefit additional value-aligned communities, DAO angels and stewards. Here are some of the highlights:
- The reputation token $CSTK migrated to $TRUST
- The new Trusted Seed Dashboard went live
- Trusted Seed members met IRL for the first time at Trusted Seed Picnic
- Trusted Seed held a virtual Unconference, sponsored by Commons Stack, Giveth, General Magic and GIGA
- We built new partnerships with Crypto Commons Association, ReFi Spring, DoinGud, Good Dollar, and more!
Future outlook of Trusted Seed
To keep pushing our mission forward, Trusted Seed intends to achieve the following:
🎯 Organize more events that will help current and aspiring DAO stewards and leaders navigate the web3 ecosystem with the purpose of advancing regenerative economies
🎯 Improve the membership terms and conditions to give existing and future Trusted Seed members, like yourself, even more benefits and value
🎯 Generate more funding through diversified funding streams such as donations, grants and sponsorships so we can continue our work and reward future contributors
